The Lisbon Book Fair. 2022
The Lisbon Book Fair
The 92nd Lisbon Book Fair takes place in 2022 until 11 September.
It takes place in the Eduard VII Park (Parque Eduardo Septimo) under the sign of literature as it should be.
This is not the only theme, as the programme is varied, with music, workshops, meetings, conferences and author signatures.
In all, 140 participants are gathered in 340 “pavilions” that occupy the space of the Park, near Marquis de Pombal (Praça Marques de Pombal).
It is worth noting that the fair is concerned with the environment.
The “piles of books” initiative will enable the transformation of small household appliance waste, batteries and accumulators that you have at home into books that will be donated to the Santa Casa da Misericordia.
A book fair is for reading
The Lisbon Book Fair, FLL, in its Portuguese acronym – Feira do Livre de Lisboa – invites you to read.
So it has created the “H” hour
Every evening of the fair between 29 August and 8 September, from 9pm to 10pm, the hour before closing time, books are sold at 50% of their value.
All exhibitors are represented.

The FLL also includes in its programme meetings with authors and signing sessions.

Don’t miss the debate with some of the European Literature Prize-winning authors on 9 September 2022 at 6pm in the South Auditorium (near Marquis de Pombal Square).
